Challenges are independent activities that are not linked to a lesson or curriculum, with exclusive content (games, exercises, quizzes and projects) that are visible to both teachers and students.

Their aim is to deepen knowledge of Computer Science and Programming, using themes from the STEAM areas as well as the Sustainable Development Goals. They can be used as homework, vacation assignments or simply as extra activities outside of class.

To start exploring this page, click on the Challenges button.

Once you enter this page you will find the following Challenge categories:

  1. Computer Science - here are all the challenges that will help your students explore more about technology and its role in everyday life;

  2. STEAM - here you'll find all the challenges related to STEAM areas, so you'll be able to see five different subcategories, such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics;

  3. Sustainable Development Goals - here are all the challenges that will help your students become aware of their role in the world. Here we present challenges that aim to highlight the role that each student has in creating a fairer, healthier and more sustainable planet;

  4. Offline challenges - here are all the challenges that can be done without using a computer. For each lesson in the curriculum, we have an Unplug Activity that reinforces knowledge through a didactic practice in which they don't need computers or the Internet. They can also be used to recap learning in a different way;

  5. Gym - here you'll find the various levels of games, divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced difficulty levels. This is where students can play more levels of their favorite game and practice their skills.

If you start one of these challenges, it will appear in the “Continue playing” area. It's also in this area that you'll be able to see the latest challenges you've been doing. Remember that they are ordered from the most recent challenge to the oldest challenge you started.

It is on this page that we also present the Monthly challenges. Every month we update this section, usually highlighting 3 challenges.

You'll also find an area where you can consult all the challenges available on our platform, without having to filter to find them.

Finally, you'll find an area we call “Your favorite subjects”, where you can indicate which are your favorite subjects and, depending on the choice you make, only the challenges related to those subjects will appear.

Will you accept the challenge?
