Parental involvement is essential for student success on ubbu! By linking parent accounts, you allow them to monitor their children’s progress and support learning at home.

With just a few clicks, you can generate an educator code and share it with families. Each code is unique and only needs to be used once to link the student’s account to the parent’s account.

How to get the educator code in the platform

To generate and share the educator code, follow these steps:

  1. Go to one of your classes on the ubbu platform.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click ••• Class options.

  3. Select “Download educator code (.pdf)”.

  4. A pop-up window will appear — click “Download codes to send (.pdf)”.

  5. The download will complete in seconds.

  6. You can now print the file and give it to students or parents.

💡Tip: You can also use this feature to control student access to certain content at home while keeping the focus on classroom progress.

What the pdf contains for parents

The PDF generated for each student includes:

  • Student username, to make account management at home easier

  • Unique educator code that the parent will use to register on ubbu

  • Detailed instructions on how to use the code and create a parent account

What parents can do after registration

After registering, parents can:

  • Track their children’s progress and completed classroom activities

  • Allow students to continue learning at home

  • Contact the teacher to learn more

Conclusion

With the educator code, you foster a closer partnership between school and family, strengthening learning both in and out of the classroom.
