Depending on your device settings, the Playbook app may update automatically when a new version is released.
NOTE: Because automatic updates depend on your device settings and network connection, it's worth checking manually from time to time to see whether a newer version of the Playbook app is available.

How to set up automatic updates (Android)
Open the Google Play Store app.
In the top right, tap the Profile icon.
Go to Settings → Network Preferences → Auto-update apps.
Select one of the following options:
Over any network – to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Over Wi-Fi only – to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.
How to set automatic updates (iOS)
Open Settings on your device.
Tap App Store.
Under Automatic Downloads, enable App Updates by toggling the switch on.
