How to Use your Customer Relationship Manager (Audience)

Use this tool to market to your subscribers!

Written by Jordan Blake

Our Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) will help you learn more about your users to build better relationships with them for your business.

Use this tool to your advantage! Download customer contact details directly and leverage them to market your content, share important updates, and engage your fans. Here’s how you can access this tool:

Step 1: Log in to the Dashboard here.

Make sure to select the "Sign in with email" option under the pink button. You'll get a code emailed to you to log in.

Step 2: Click on "Audience" on the left-hand navigation bar.

Here you can view your audience by segment: subscribers, one-time purchasers, and leads. 'Subscribed' are those who have purchased a subscription, 'One-time purchases' are those who have purchased a one-time purchase program, and 'Leads' are emails captured from those who have interacted with your channel but have not yet purchased a subscription or a one-time purchase program.

With leads, the 'Source' column shows where the email was captured from (i.e. "Deep Link Paid Program", "Landing Page Checkout", etc.). If a lead ultimately purchases a subscription or one-time purchase, they will be removed from this list.

Step 3: Click on "Export" to download the data.

Each segment will have an 'Export' button to download the email list of that respective segment. Contact information is shown for all users in the dashboard, and the Marketing column indicates whether you have permission to email a user for promotional or non-support purposes. If users have opted to have their data hidden or selected to opt out of email communication, you will not see their information when you export your audience data. Webhooks will also not send emails to those users.

Marketing permissions of your subscribers:

  • Yes - means that they have opted in for receiving marketing emails from you.

  • No - means that they have opted out from receiving marketing emails from you.
