Win Bet - A win bet is placed on a runner to finish the race in first position.

Place Bet - A place bet is placed on a runner to finish the race in:

  • 3 place dividends are paid if there are 8 or more runners in a race at the time of bet placement.

  • 2 place dividends are paid if there are 5-7 runners in the race at the time of bet placement.

  • No place dividend will be offered for races with less than 5 runners.

Each-Way - An each-way bet is a combined win and place bet. Half of the stake will be placed on the win and half of the stake will be placed on the Place.

For example:

$5 Each Way bet will be $5 on the Win and $5 on the Place for a total stake of $10. In this case you can still get a return if your runner does not win but places 2nd or 3rd.

Midi Div (MD) - Midi Div means you will get the middle return (second highest dividend) out of the three TABs for all Win, Place and Each Way wagers on Harness, Greyhound and Australian Thoroughbred.

No Third Dividend (NTD) - Where there are 5, 6 or 7 runners in a race, a place is paid on first and second places only. This will be shown in the race result as No Third Dividend (NTD).

Dead Heat - A dead heat refers to an outcome where two or more runners are tied for the same position. In this instance, your bet is settled under the dead heat rules for that event.

Deductions - In the case of scratchings after the declaration of the Final Field, deductions will apply to the face value of winning bets placed at Fixed odds.

.

Same Race Multi (SRM) - A Same Race Multi is a bet where you can bet on multiple outcomes in a single race, you will be able to pick multiple runners to either win, or place in the top 2, top 3 or top 4. With this bet type, all legs must win for this bet to be classified as a winner.

There must be a minimum of 6 runners for bets to stand.

Racing Futures - Racing Futures are available on selected events and are offered on either an all-in or pre-nominations basis.
Bets made before the final field has been declared are ALL IN bets. So if your horse does not run, you're "all in", meaning you will not get a refund, unless it is stated on the individual bet.
