What happens if a race result is overturned?

All bets placed on Motor Racing are settled as per podium presentation. Any decisions overturned after the podium presentation are not recognized for betting purposes.

Head-to-Head Matchups

For Head-to-Head matchups, both drivers must cross the start finish line for bets to stand. For example, if an H2H is placed on Verstappen and Hamilton but Hamilton retires the bet will not be paid out.

Match Betting/Group Betting

Two drivers or constructors may be paired/put in a group for betting purposes and prices offered on which of them will finish in a higher position in the Drivers/Constructors Championship standings, as specified by the FIA, and in accordance with their official rules. A minimum of 16 races must take place for bets to stand.

What is the Driver’s Championship?

The Driver’s Championship is decided by which driver entering the championships cores the most points over the calendar year. This is determined by wins, points finishes and fastest laps. There is a fixed amount of points awarded per race (25 for 1st, 18 for 2nd, etc). The driver with the most points at the end of the season is declared Champion.

What is the Constructor’s Championship?

This is like the Driver’s Championship; however, it decides the highest performing constructor (or team). This is calculated by the highest combined points scored by a pair of teammates. For example, in 2021 Mercedes won the Constructor’s title with a combined amount of 613.5 points, even though Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Driver’s title with 395.5 points.

What is a pit stop?

This is when a driver enters the pit lane to change their worn tyres, and apply new tyres and repair the car if needed. This is used strategically by the teams to bring the car to the finish line in the quickest possible way. There are markets in which drivers will make their pit stop first.

What is the difference between a virtual safety car and a safety car?

A safety car and a virtual safety car are both deployed in case of obstacles on or near the track primarily. However, there are some differences. The safety car is usually deployed when there is a big mess up, multiple car crashes, or a damaged barrier. Incidents with huge impacts do call out the safety car. The safety car isn’t withdrawn until the track is fully clear to race.

The virtual safety car is usually deployed when a car goes out of the track, a car stops in the middle, and there comes an obstacle on the track. Each car will have to follow a delta time and reduce the speed by 30% to 40% from the normal track pace.

There are markets on the possibility of a safety car being deployed in the race.
