Verisk | Xactimate - How to Create Plnar Projects via Xactimate

Plnar’s integration with Xactimate streamlines the process of creating and sending Plnar projects directly from the console. This seamless connection enables users to initiate Plnar projects without leaving the Xactimate environment, enhancing efficiency and simplifying workflow management. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to create and send Plnar Snap projects using the X1 console.

In Xactimate Desktop (X1) or Online (XOR)

Find the claim in your Local Projects and click the "Request Data" (house and tree) icon found on the right menu

Note: When syncing projects initiated outside of Xactimate, the claim numbers must match to successfully sync data. Ensure the claim number in Xactimate matches the entry in the Plnar Portal. If no match is found, a new Plnar Project will be created.

The "Request Data" modal will appear.

Choose New Order

Click Next

If you have a roof measurement provider enabled on your account, your view may look like this:

Select Property Data
Then click Next

In the new web page, click the drop down menu next to Plnar and select Interior Walls:

Confirm Information

Ensure the Claim Number, Property Address, and Contact Information is correct for yourself and the insured. When initiating a project, you'll select who the project recipient is by using the check box next to the contact.

  • Select Claim Representative to send the project to yourself.

  • Select Property Owner to send the project to the insured.

Scroll to the bottom and click "Submit." Within a few seconds, the recipient will receive the project link via email and SMS and can begin capturing.
