Yes—an internet connection is required to submit your project. We recommend waiting until you're in an area with strong, stable internet (Wi-Fi or LTE) before submitting.
If you're in a location with no service or weak signal, your project may fail to upload or stay stuck in a Capturing or Submit Required state.
To avoid issues:
Wait until you have internet access before submitting
Avoid switching apps or locking your phone during upload
If your project doesn't submit right away, return to an area with internet and reopen the app—check to see if the project resumes submission or tap the Submit Project button to try again.
