Whether using the web application (www.getplot.com) on a web browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari), or on the downloaded mobile apps (links to app stores below), Trades will use the 'Book a Delivery' that prescreens delivery requests to fit within location/equipment availability and prevents double-booking.
Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/plot-jobsite-management/id6444870566
Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.getplot.app&hl=en_US
You must first receive an invite to join a project to use the mobile application. If you are able to attain the project's URL before being invited, you can 'Request to Join' that will provide the Leads of the GC on the project with your contact information.
Mobile interface shown below:
After app download, log in using the contact information you were invited from (you can use phone number or email address to log in, but it must match what you were invited from).
Choose the Company you are acting on behalf of, and the project in which you would like to make a delivery request.
Upcoming Deliveries screen shows deliveries for all Trades from today forward. Click Book a Delivery to start a new delivery request.
Your company will be auto-selected on the next screen. Change if you are requesting on behalf of another company (GC only). Select the location and equipment you are requesting to be reserved for your delivery and then the duration of you offloading window.
On the next page are the available time slots to begin your delivery offloading. Choose whichever you prefer.
Add relevant information based on what your GC has told to you to provide. Click 'Submit' to send the delivery request to the GC. The Lead(s) of your company will be notified with the GC ACCEPTS or DECLINEs.
While the mobile interface is shown here, the 'Book a Delivery' workflow is available on the Portal page, on each Location/Equipment details tab on the Logistics page, and in the top right of the Deliveries page.
