Let’s dive in and see what you can do once you’ve signed in to the new app.

Plumb's is powered by an all-new and significantly improved search, which you'll find on most pages in the app. When you're looking for drug information, search is the fastest and easiest way to access drug monographs, and it's right at the top of your home screen.

Here's how to search:

Simply tap in the search bar at the top of the home screen, and start typing the first few letters of the drug’s generic or trade name for automatic results.

Don’t see what you need immediately? Continue typing to narrow your results—no need to scroll through a long list of drug names.

Once you see the correct drug, tap on the search tile to open the monograph. Or tap on Dosages or Dosage Forms to go directly to one of those sections.

Just want to see drug monographs in your search results? You can search monographs and appendix articles by tapping on Drug Monographs from the home screen.

On the Drug Monographs page, start typing a drug name to quickly get results. If you’d like to filter your search results further, just tap Filter and select Drug Monographs or Appendix.

Search will always be the fastest way to find what you're looking for. But if you're just browsing, you can use the alphabet menu or tap the Drug Monographs or Appendix titles beneath the search bar to explore what's available.

From your home screen, select Drug Interaction Checker. Start typing a drug name and select from the drop-down list that appears.

Once you’ve entered your full list, press Return on the keyboard to collapse it. From here, you can scroll to review all your results. For more information about the classification (eg, contraindicated), tap on the blue information icon.

After you’ve reviewed your results, you can press Clear All so you’re ready for your next search.

The new app comes with an essential conversion calculator built in. You can access it from any page by tapping on the Calculator icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. The calculator allows you to do quick conversions between common units (lbs/kg, oz/g, ºF/ºC) and calculations. To return to the calculator with a converted result, tap the Calculator button in the conversion key section.

The fastest way to access medication guides is via the Pet Owner Guides button on the home screen. On the page that appears, you can search the guides by drug or trade name or browse alphabetically.

On each medication guide tile, you’ll see four icons:

To select multiple guides, tap the plus icon on each and then choose Email All Guides or Print All Guides to quickly share.

Once you open the app, you can quickly toggle to your favorites by tapping on the star icon at the bottom of the screen. To add a favorite, tap on the outlined star icon anywhere it appears. Once the icon is filled in, you’ll know the content has been added to your favorites list.

In the new app, you can favorite any content, from drug monographs and appendix articles to medication guides.

Your notes are easily accessible from the notes tab at the bottom of the screen. From the Notes page, you can view your notes, add new general notes, filter by note type, and edit existing notes. (Search for notes is coming soon!)

You can also add, edit, and view notes from individual monograph and appendix articles.

In the app, you’ll also find useful links for the Help Center, support requests, and your account in the account menu. To open the account menu, visit the home screen and tap on the three lines in the top left corner, next to the logo.
