Connected TV (CTV) refers to any television that is connected to the internet, enabling users to stream content from online platforms. This includes:

  • Smart TVs: TVs with built-in internet connectivity and apps (e.g., Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.).

  • Streaming Devices: External devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, or Google Chromecast that allow non-smart TVs to connect to the internet and stream content.

In other words, CTV is the physical device (TV or streaming device) that allows you to access streaming services and online content. CTV makes it possible to watch internet-based video content on your television screen.
