You can now verify your age in Highrise! This not only makes the community and your account safer, but it could also give you access to exclusive experiences in the future.
How We Verify Your Age
To ensure a secure age verification process, we’ve partnered with Persona, a trusted third-party service. You will need to take a live selfie and upload a government-issued ID for verification.
Rest assured, we do not receive or store any raw data related to your documentation, except for your birthdate.
Verifying Your Age in Highrise
To verify your age, you must be at least 13 years old and have a government-issued photo ID ready. This can be any government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, residency card, etc.
Here’s How to Get Started:
Log into Your Account
Open Highrise and sign in with your credentials.
Open Settings from the Menu
Click the three-line icon in the top-left corner to open the menu, then select the gear icon to open settings.
Choose “Privacy”
Under “My Account,” select the option“Privacy.”
Click on “Age Verification”
This will open a window where you can start the age verification process.
Follow the Steps
Click on "Begin Verifying" and follow the prompts. You will need to grant camera access to proceed.
Take a Selfie
You’ll be asked to take a live selfie to match with the photo on your ID, ensuring that the person submitting the ID is the same as the one in the photo. This is a 3D selfie, taking pictures of other pictures won’t work.
Scan Your ID
Capture a clear image of your government-issued ID, front and back.
Note: Your ID must be valid and unexpired for the verification to be successful.
Return to Highrise
Once the process is finished, you'll receive a message.
If you successfully pass the selfie and government ID verification check and are 18 years or older, you will receive an Age Verified 18+ badge on your profile.
