Quick Payments Through Pocomos

Receiving payments in Pocomos just got easier. Previously, if a customer wanted to make a payment online without having to call you in the office, they had to go through their customer portal, which requires logging in.

Now, they can pay through their own payment page that bypasses the customer portal. Paired with automatic invoice alerts, this makes getting paid from your customers automatic for you and easy for your customers.

Below is how you set it up and how it works.


1. Click on Settings

2. Click on Communications

3. Click on Email Templates

4. Go to the email you would like to add the link to or create a new email template.

5. Click on the email template to edit it.

6. Put the Email Payment Link in the email template where you would like it.

This variable will insert the text "Click Here to Make Payment" and have it linked to the customer's quick payment page. If you want to just have the link in there, use the {{ sms_payment_link }}.

7. If you would like to add the link to your SMS messages, go to settings->communications->SMS Templates

8. Click on the template you would like to edit.

9. Enter the {{ sms_payment_link }} variable where you would like it.

It will enter the customer-specific quick payment url so your customer can click on that to pay their bill.

10. When you customers click on the payment link, they will see a page similar to this.

They can pay one invoice at a time or pay for multiple in one transaction. They can also just pay and not save the card on file or they can enroll in autopay, which will save the payment information on file and enroll them in autopay.

11. If they have a rental property or other properties for which they are responsible for billing, they will see invoices for those properties on their page.

12. You will also be able to replace the customer portal link on the PDF invoices

Go to settings->configuration->invoice settings->click on the Payment Link checkbox and then select the Public Link from the dropdown.

13. Your customers will then see this on their invoices. When they click on it, it will take them to their Quick Payment page.
