There are four main sections in the customer portal:

  1. Summary

  2. Next Service

  3. Payment Accounts

  4. File Manager

There is a summary of screen shots below. You can also see a video here.

There is nothing editable on this page.

The next page, "Next Service," shows the date, time, technician and service type of the next service, as well as a list of all upcoming services.

The last page "Payment Accounts" shows current payment accounts and has the option to create new ones.

Additionally, there is a "Pay My Bill" button where the customer can pay any outstanding invoices. They cannot prepay from this page. They can only pay for outstanding invoices, one at a time. They can also download past invoices from this page.

Customers can also see their file manager. They can upload files from their device to the portal. It will show up on both the customer and the users end. It indicates the date that it was uploaded and who uploads the file.

In order for customers to have a portal log in, you need to send them a link so they can set up their username and password or enable the customer portal link on invoices. The link you send them only lasts 7 days, so they need to sign up before it expires. If they don't and tell you the link is broken or threw an error, it is because they waited too long and you need to resend it.

Enabling Customer Portal Link on Invoice

Go to settings->configuration->invoice settings

It will look like this on the invoice

If you want to get the customer portal log in on your website, let us know and we can help you get that set up.
