Go to employees->click on the employee of interest->permission->sales manager
This company role will give your sales rep additional privileges over what a traditional sales rep has. This sales rep will be able to see the customer profile for their customers only and will be able to have additional but not full privileges on the customer's profile. It will look similar to below.
