Go to the technician's profile.
You can enter either a flat or a rate commission. The flat is the dollar amount you pay per job that the technician completes. They will get paid even if the job price is $0. The rate commission is a percentage of the job price, so they don't get paid on jobs that are free. You put a decimal (.1) instead of a whole number (10) for the percentage, so .1 would be the entry for a 10% commission.

You will then be able to see how much to pay that technician over a selected date range from the technician report.
You can override a technician's default commission by changing the job or account commission.
Job Commission
You can change the Job Commission from a couple different areas:
View/Add: click on the job->action->job commission
ย ย 2. Process:ย
Regardless of which technician performs this job, they will be qualify for commissions based on the job commission instead of their normal commission.
Account Commission
The technician that performs a job for an account that has an account commission will qualify for commissions based on the account commission instead of their normal commission.
In the scenario where a technician has a personal commission, the account has a commission, and a job for that account has a commission attached, the job commission will take priority.
In terms of priority, technician commission<account commission<job commission.
