Introduction
As your affiliates earn commissions, it’s your responsibility to handle their payments through Podia 💰
This process is manual, giving you full control over the amount and frequency of payments to your affiliates.
Podia provides two options for paying your affiliates.
You can pay them directly through PayPal within Podia, or you can use an external platform for payments and then mark them as paid in Podia.
This flexibility ensures you can manage affiliate payments in a way that best suits your business needs.
Paying unpaid commissions
Podia allows you to pay your affiliates through PayPal directly from the platform. Here's how to do it!
Access the affiliate dashboard by clicking on Audience and selecting Affiliates from the top navigation menu.
Podia will display all of the unpaid affiliates and how much money you owe them.
Click on Pay right next to the affiliate's name to pay them through PayPal.
If the Pay button is disabled, this means your affiliate hasn't yet connected their PayPal email address to get paid.
Have them access their customer settings and connect an Affiliate PayPal address.
Enter the amount you'd like to pay your affiliates. You can either pay the full amount you owe or enter a custom value based on your payout schedule.
Log in to the PayPal account where payments should be made from, review your information, and complete the payout.
Once the payment is complete, simply Mark the affiliate as paid on Podia so you know they've already been paid out!
Paying specific commissions
Instead of paying all unpaid commissions for each affiliate, you can choose to pay specific commissions only.
This gives you additional flexibility, especially if you have refund policies in place or prefer to pay affiliates for specific referrals on a different schedule.
Access the affiliate dashboard by clicking on Audience and selecting Affiliates from the top navigation menu.
Click on the name of the affiliate you want to pay, and you’ll be taken to their Overview page.
Select all the invoices you'd like to pay and click on Pay affiliate in the upper right corner.
Enter the total amount of the invoices you selected on the PayPal payment screen.
Log in to the PayPal account where payments should be made from, review your information, and complete the payout.
Once you've paid them through PayPal, go back to Podia to mark them as paid!
Paying affiliates externally
Podia offers the flexibility to pay your affiliates through PayPal, but you can also use other payment services like Stripe, direct bank transfers, or any method you prefer.
First, check the unpaid commissions on the Podia platform. Then, pay your affiliates using your preferred method.
Finally, mark those commissions as paid in Podia.
This way, you can easily manage affiliate payments using the method that works best for you.
