Podia supports almost any type of content you want to upload — if it’s on your computer, you can probably add it to your product 😊
The types of content you can add will depend on the product you’re uploading it to.
Digital downloads
You can add any type of file to a digital download product.
These files won’t play or open directly on Podia — instead, customers will download them and use them on their own devices.
For example, if you upload a video to a digital download product, customers won’t be able to stream it. They’ll need to download the file and watch it on their device.
You can upload almost any file type you like, including videos, audio files, PDFs, text files, and more.
Online courses
Online courses give you the flexibility to mix and match different types of content, so you can combine whatever you need to create the best learning experience.
When adding content to your online course, you can choose from several media types:
Text: Write directly using Podia’s rich text editor
Video and audio: Streamed directly through your course
Files: Upload video, audio, PDFs, text files, and more
Links: Send learners to any external website
Embeds: Add YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Google Forms, and more
Video and audio files will stream directly inside your course, so customers can play them right on Podia.
You can also embed interactive content from 1,900+ platforms using iFramely—perfect for adding forms, assignments, external PDFs (if you have them hosted in Google Drive, for example), and other rich content.
Additionally, you can upload any type of file as a downloadable file. These files won’t open or play on Podia; customers will download them and use them on their own devices.
