Setting your products to only be available to members is a great way to make them available only through a subscription plan.
This means the product won’t be accessible for purchase or enrollment anywhere else on your site.
To make a product member-exclusive, you’ll need to update its availability settings and grant access through one of your subscription plans.
Adjusting product availability settings
The first step when it comes to making a product exclusive to members is adjusting the product's availability settings.
This will ensure visitors cannot see or enroll in your product outside of your subscription plan.
Go to Products in the sidebar menu.
Click the"Edit" button of the product you wish to make exclusive to your members.
Navigate to the "Availability" tab.
Click on Edit next to the Visibility option.
Change the visibility to Hidden and Save your changes. This will hide your product from all of your site pages.
And no worries—customers who already purchased the product or gain access through a subscription plan will still be able to view the product without any issues.
Next, click on Edit next to the Access option.
Change the access to Closed and Save your changes.
This setting will prevent visitors from signing up for the product directly from your site (while still being available through a subscription plan).
Giving product access through a subscription plan
The next step when it comes to making a product exclusive to members is giving it access through a subscription plan.
In the sidebar menu, click on Community.
Under community, click Plans. Click on “Edit” next to the plan you’d like to include products for.
Locate the Included products section. To add a product, start typing the product name you want to add in the field and click on it to have it added. You can add as many products as you'd like.
Once you have added all of the products you’d like, save your changes.
