Types of Notifications sent to user - administrator, service providers and customers | Enable/Disable | Customize

Notifications are communications that are sent on your company’s behalf to users of the system (administrators, service providers, customers, etc.). They can either be sent via email or text (if your subscription includes SMS messages).

All email notifications are sent from the address services@miocommerce.com, so please add it as a contact. Additionally, please set your Reply-to email in Settings / Notifications, as without a Reply-to email, all replies to email notifications will end up in the services@miocommerce.com, which is unmonitored.

Administrator Notifications

Administrators receive system notifications on events, such as when:

  • A new Call To Action is received

  • A new Web Booking is received

  • A new Customer is created

  • A Web Booking Pre-Authorization fails

  • A Web Booking Integration fails

Additionally, administrators can choose to “BCC” on all customer notifications from the Settings / Notifications page, meaning they will receive one copy of the exact notification each of their customers receives.

Customer Notifications

There are several notifications that are sent to customers, such as:

  • Booking Confirmation

  • Booking Cancelled

  • Booking Modified

  • Booking Rescheduled

  • Booking Reminder

  • Booking Quote

Service Provider Notifications

If your account includes a subscription to service providers, they are sent notifications which include:

  • Booking Assigned

  • Booking Unassigned

  • Booking Modified

  • Booking Rescheduled

  • Service Reminder

  • Schedule

Editing Notifications

Many notifications have templates that are editable from Settings / Notifications. Our powerful Notification Template Editor allows you to customize the content in a straightforward manner. At the moment, you are able to edit all notifications that are sent to customers.
