Reset to Default
Restores the notification template to MioCommerce’s original version. If you reset the template, any previous edits will be removed.

Understanding notification template components

Notification templates include several components that allow messages to display dynamic information.

Tokens

Tokens are small placeholders that automatically insert information into notifications.

Examples of information tokens can include:

  • Customer name

  • Booking details

  • Service provider name

  • Appointment time

To insert a token:

  1. Select the token from the right-hand menu.

  2. Click the location in the message where the token should appear.

The system will replace the token with the actual information when the notification is sent.

In the image below - You can view options for Tokens in the right menu bar. Suppose, you need to add "Recipient full name", here's how you can do that - Click on the "Recipient full name" in the right menu bar and then click where you need to add this information.

Conditions

Conditions allow the template to show or hide content depending on specific booking details.

For example:

  • Display pricing information only if the booking includes a cost

  • Show date information only if a booking date exists

Conditions help create more flexible notification messages.

Partials

Partials are the large grey boxes of the template that contain pre-built logic and formatting.

These sections usually include important information such as booking details or appointment summaries.

Partials are not editable because they contain complex system logic.

Preview text (email only)

Preview text is the short message that appears next to the email subject line in the recipient’s inbox.

This text helps recipients understand the email content before opening it.

Preview text does not appear inside the email body itself.
