By importing our pre-built container template, you can easily send key e-commerce events to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and advertising platforms such as Meta Ads and Google Ads.

1. Supported Events

Podyx provides native event tracking via data layers, which can be used as triggers in GTM. The following standard e-commerce events are supported:

  • User registered

  • Add to cart

  • Begin checkout

  • Purchase

The Purchase event is especially important, as it fires when a booking is successfully completed.

2. Additional Data for Purchase Event

Along with the Purchase event, Podyx also sends additional e-commerce parameters, including:

  • Items purchased

  • Transaction value

  • Currency

This data gives you richer insights in GA4 and ensures accurate reporting and optimization in advertising platforms.

3. Google Tag Manager Container Template

We have prepared a ready-to-use GTM container template. This template includes all the necessary tags, triggers, and variables for GA4, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
How to Import the Template:

  1. Download the provided container file (.json).

    1. Download at the bottom

  2. Open your Google Tag Manager account.

  3. Navigate to Admin > Import Container.

  4. Select the downloaded .json file.

  5. Choose the Workspace where you want to import.

  6. Select Merge (to add to your existing setup) or Overwrite (to replace everything in the workspace).

  7. Update your GA4 Measurement ID and any other platform IDs (Meta Pixel, Google Ads ID, etc.).

  8. In your Podyx Admin (Studio Settings -> Marketing -> Google Tag ID), add the corresponding Container ID so Podyx can push events into your GTM setup.

4. Customization Options

  • You may remove any tags or triggers you don’t need.

  • You can add new platforms such as Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or TikTok Pixels by duplicating existing triggers.

  • All events are based on data layers, so extending to additional tracking systems is straightforward.

5. Consent Mode Tag

⚠️ Important: This may be legally required in some countries. Please confirm with your legal team whether you need to implement Consent Mode for your region.

✅ By following this setup, you will have a fully functional tracking system in GTM, sending events from the Podyx platform to GA4 and your advertising platforms.
