What to do if you need a new eSIM?

Before following these steps, make sure your device is eSIM-compatible.

Common issue with eSIM

  • eSIM not installing: Scanning your eSIM installation QR code gives you an error. Replacing your eSIM may resolve this issue.

  • Switching devices: You want to switch your Polar Mobile service to a new device. Generating a new eSIM then scanning it with your new device will switch devices.

Steps to generate a new eSIM

  1. Log into your portal: Access your account on our portal.

2. Ensure network connection: Make sure your device is connected to a network before starting.

3. On the landing page, click "view details" on the desired line.

4. Go to "manage": Click on this option to start the process.

5. Generate a New eSIM: Under 'Your SIM', click “Get new SIM” and choose eSIM to create your new eSIM.

6. Scan the QR Code: Use your new device to scan the QR code and install the eSIM.

7. Old eSIM Deactivation: Your old eSIM will automatically stop working once the new one is set up.
