Polaris Data will now allow Ops/Head Office level users to set up access to give their Managers/Assistant Managers the freedom to access multiple sites within Polaris Data. This will allow them to have access to other sites Daily Input/Weekly Input/Rota Planner and People Management.
They won't be able to approve employees Holidays/Transfers or Multiple Employment for the site they have Multi Site Access to unless they have the "View Pay Rate" option selected (see below).
To give an employee access to multiple sites you will need to click Multi Site Access option on the main Polaris Data menu.
From here, click the Add New button at the top right and fill in the required fields;
Employee - To find the employee you need you will need to start typing their name and they will appear. If the employee does not appear you will need to make sure that they have the correct access. To check this you will need to go into there General Details page and make sure Is this User a House Login is ticked to Yes.
View Pay Rates
This can be set at 3 different levels. **PLEASE NOTE: the setting here ONLY applies to any additional sites the employee needs access to - their base site is NOT affected/changed**
ALL PAY RATES - This will give the user access to ALL pay rates within the site(s) they have multi-site access to. They will also have the authority to be able to process leavers and add new employee records.
HOURLY ONLY - This will give visibility/access to employee pay rates that are HOURLY PAID. Any salaried pay rates will not be accessible.
NO PAY RATES - The user can access the site and the rota etc but will not have any access to individual pay rates.
Enabled Houses - Click the field and select the house(s)/site(s) you wish to give access to.
When you have filled out the boxes with the correct information, click Save at the top right and they will now be able to switch between sites using the orange site selector in the top left of the Polaris Menu;
Base House refers to the Team Member's home site and Site View refers to the other site(s) they have access to.
Note: If the employee is permanently transferred to one of the sites he/she has multi-site access to, the Multi-site access will need to be removed and re-set.
