When you set up an employee on Polaris and you have entered there correct email address an Activation email will be sent to them. This activation link will expire after 72 hours for security purposes.

If the employee requires a new activation email or password reset email you can re-generate one from their employee record or via Employee Search (if you're a Head Office user with access to the Employee Search function):

1. Go to the employee's record and to their Account and Banking Details screen. You will see there is a "Send Reset Password Email" option underneath the privilege role and hierarchy visibility drop downs - simply click this button to send the password reset link. If an employee hasn't activated their account, the option will read as "Send Account Activation Email".

2. For Higher Up/Head Office users with access, these emails can also be sent via the  Employee Search screen. Search for the employee who requires the email to be sent by using the FILTERS and searching by Employee Name/Number or Email Address.

When you find the employee you are looking for click the dropdown button next to the EDIT button and one or two options will appear (depending on your access level). Regenerate Login Details or Change Employee Number. You will need to click the Regenerate Login Details which will generate the Activation/Password re-set email according.

**NOTE: If the employee hasn't received anything please get them to check their JUNK folder as sometimes it does fall into here**

If you still having issue please contact support so we are able to investigate.
