How to send reset password links on Polaris

It can often happen where employees have a Polaris account but can't remember their password to get onto it.

This can be easily fixed by sending out a password reset email to the employee(s) in question.

To send a reset password email, you must first go onto the employees general details page on the staff maintenance section.

Once on their general details page, you will find a "Send Reset Password email" option - if you tick the box next to it and click save, it will send an email to the employee.

Once the email has been sent, the employee should receive a link (ensure that they check their junk/spam as sometimes it falls into there).

If they follow the link via the email, they will be able to reset their password and log in to Polaris.

*Please note that the password link is only active for 24 hours so please ensure the password is reset in that time*

How to Request a Forgotten Password Email

You can also request to change your password via the Polaris log in screen.

Simply enter your email that you use for Polaris and click submit. This will then send a link to your email which you can follow to reset your Polaris password.

How to reset password through the app:

Make your way over to the more section on the app.

Next, click on the security tab and that will allow you to access the change password function.

Then click onto the change password function then input your previous password, your new password and then confirm your new password.

This will now have set your new password to access the Polaris app.
