When searching for news content within Pro Intelligence your search includes Pro policy areas you’re currently subscribed to, as well as all content.

The complete POLITICO EU editorial archive is available and fully searchable within news. Because of this, in addition to the content from your Pro policy areas, you can also search the free and historic content that may contain references or information to your keywords and topics of interest. You can filter searches by policy area to help find what you're looking for.

To search news:

1.) Go to Search

2.) Select News as an information type

3.) Search by keyword or topic of interest and filter results by year, policy area, sort by date or relevance

4.) Click on a headline to view the article

(Fun tip—when searching for a keyword or topic of interest, by expanding the year filter you can gauge popularity and trends by looking at keyword mentions over time in the news. A good example of this is a search for “Brexit,” seeing the very first mention in an article from 2012, to more than 5k mentions in 2017.
