You can access all legislation by clicking on search in the top navigation, and selecting "procedures/bills" from the list of information types. Dependent on your Pro Intelligence plan, you can search and filter legislation from the European Parliament, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and United States Congress.

To find the legislation you're looking for you can filter by legislature, year, or session. Using the search bar you can find or discover legislation by bill or procedure number, keyword, or topic. To view the full page, click on the legislation once you've found what you're interested in.

Legislation pages connect many sources and information types to display data in one centralized view. Regardless of legislature selected, legislation pages will have a consistent look.

  • Key information is always on the left side - this includes details like full title, session information, rapporteur, or any connected legislation (such as repealed legislation or transposition).

  • The right side of legislation pages displays related POLITICO news.

  • In the center of a legislation page you'll find a comprehensive timeline documenting all steps in the legislative process. This includes events, debates, documents, votes, and more. To filter select items in the timeline, click the buttons above the timeline, this includes — summary, roll calls, debates, and events.

  • When selecting a vote you can view the roll call outcome and all individual votes. You can filter roll call votes by party and country (where applicable).

  • You can visualize roll call votes geographically on a map and filter by specific party.

  • Clicking the top legislation page menu displays additional information. You can view rapporteurs or sponsors, legislation documents, and amendments. We include all primary and shadow rapporteurs or sponsors.

  • Documents can be filtered to display only from specific institutions or contributors. You can also securely upload your own documents.

  • Amendments displays the original text on the left, and the proposed new text on right. Tabled amendments in the European Parliament can be searched by keyword, filtered by legislator or committee, and bookmarked for quick access later.

  • To track legislation and receive email updates when activity occurs (like events, votes, debates, and more), click the "track" button located to the top right and add to the Project of your preference.
