The most common place to start following legislators is through Search. To follow a legislator:

1.) Click on Search from the main navigation

2.) Select the People information type from the left menu, type in a legislator name or use the filters to narrow your search by legislature, country, session, etc.

3.) When you've found a person you'd like to follow, click on the blue “Follow” button on the right side of a people profile, the button will change color to yellow, indicating you've now followed a legislator

4.) You can add a person to multiple Projects, to do so, check the box in the drop down menu next to each specific Project, the person will be added to each specific Project

5.) To view followed legislators, click on Projects, select a Project - you will see your followed legislators

6.) When you follow legislators, it means you can organize stakeholders across legislative priorities in one place, it also enables an automatic email alert after a followed legislator makes a plenary contribution or asks a parliamentary question

Please note, when selecting the follow button without selecting a specific Project, the followed legislator will be placed in your Personal Project.
