How to create custom recurrences in Pooltrackr

Updated over 3 months ago

The custom recurrence feature provides the flexibility to create and automate schedules that align with your operations. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of setting up custom recurrence patterns and configuring schedules for specific timeframes.

Creating Custom Recurrences

  1. Follow the process of creating a new job and click on the Make Recurrence option. A pop-up window will appear where you can set the recurring pattern for the job. Select the Custom option.

2. In the Frequency dropdown, choose how often the recurrence should repeat (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly).

  • Specify the interval by entering a number in the Repeat every field.

  • Example: If you want the recurrence every 2 weeks, set the interval to "2" and choose "Weekly"

3. Choose Days of the Week: Select the days the recurrence should apply by clicking on days (e.g., MO for Monday, TU for Tuesday).

4. Choose how the recurrence ends:

  • No. of occurrences: Set a specific number of times the event will repeat.

  • End date: Pick a specific date for the recurrence to stop.

  • Never end: Keep the recurrence ongoing indefinitely.

5. Refine by Month. Under the By month section, select specific months for the recurrence. For example, check only January, March, and December if you want the event to happen in these months.

  • Use the dropdown labelled Apply from period to use the custom periods if you have created one.

6. Click the Preview button to review the custom recurrence schedule and ensure it aligns with your expectations.

7. Save the Recurrence. Once satisfied, click Set recurrence pattern to save your custom recurrence.
