Ready to hit the road? Here’s a simple checklist to help you prepare for your Poparide trip and make it a smooth and enjoyable experience:

1. Confirm Your Booking

Before the trip, double-check your booking details in the app or website. If you have to make any changes to your booking, please use the options provided on Poparide, and don’t hesitate to contact your driver.

2. Message Your Driver

Use the in-app messaging feature to introduce yourself and confirm any final details, such as where exactly to meet or if you’re running a few minutes late. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth pick-up!

3. Be on Time

Respect your driver’s time by arriving at the pick-up point a few minutes early. If you’re delayed, let your driver know as soon as possible. Punctuality keeps the trip on track for everyone.

4. Pack Light

Drivers typically have limited space in their vehicles. Bring only what you can comfortably carry, and if you have extra luggage or special items, message your driver ahead of time to confirm they have space.

5. Bring Your Essentials

Make sure to have everything you need for the trip, including your phone (fully charged!), snacks, and water for the ride. Don’t forget headphones or anything else to keep you comfortable during the trip.

6. Respect the Driver’s Preferences

Check the driver’s profile to see if they’ve noted any preferences, such as allowing pets, enjoying music, or preferring a quiet ride. Being mindful of their preferences will help make the trip pleasant for everyone.

7. During the Trip

  • Introduce yourself: When you hop in the vehicle, take a moment to introduce yourself to the driver and other passengers. Poparide is not only about saving money—it’s also a great way to meet new people!

  • Communicate with your driver: If you’d like the temperature adjusted, the music turned down, or need to make a pit stop, don’t hesitate to ask. Drivers appreciate open communication.

  • Safety first: If you feel unsafe due to speeding, reckless driving, or impaired behaviour, calmly ask the driver to stop at the next safest location. Reach out to us immediately to report the situation.

  • In case of an emergency: If your personal safety is at risk, don’t hesitate to call 911.

8. Leave a Review

After the trip, take a moment to leave a review. Reviews help build trust in the Poparide community and give valuable feedback to drivers and passengers.
