A Picture Tells a Thousand Words
The photos on your profile are one of the first things families looking to make a booking with you will notice. This guide will walk you through the requirements for the pictures on your profile and provide general guidance on how to make a great first impression.
1. Daylight Works Best
Lighting is super important to get good quality photos that are pleasing and clear. Open the blinds or curtains and turn on all the lights you can to brighten your space for any photographs.

2. Use Landscape Format
Photos in search results are all displayed in landscape – vertical photos won’t showcase your pictures as well.
3. Upload the Correct Resolution
Use photos that are at least 1024px x 683px. When in doubt, a bigger photo with higher resolution is better.
4. Show Your Face Clearly on your Profile
When taking your profile photo get a shot that shows your face clearly. Choose an expression and body posture you feel comfortable with, and that you feel will look professional and approachable.
We recommend choosing smart clothing and a plain background if possible.

5. Showcase Your Experience
Consider including pictures that showcase your experience playing, teaching or looking after children and young people in different settings in your banner and additional photos.
We recommend choosing photographs that don't include the faces of children in the shot if possible. Below are some good examples.
Always get permission before using photographs that include any people other than yourself or your own children, even if you feel they cannot be identified. If a photograph includes a child get permission from their parent or guardian before including it in your profile or anywhere else online.
6. Show Off Your Unique Offering
Call attention to details in your profile that will help families make a decision about booking with you.
If you have an outside space or access to playgrounds include pictures of these, along with any child-friendly spaces in your home if you are hosting sessions there.
Ideally show these areas in use or demonstrating activities. Some good examples are shown below.
