Creating your Stripe Account
Your Stripe account will be set up when you join Poppet as a caregiver. To do this you will need to submit the required information, ID documents and bank details on the Stripe platform. Stripe verifies your identity and reviews your application before approving your account. Once approved your account will be live and you can start receiving your earnings directly into your bank account.
Secure Payments
Stripe holds all banking and financial details on behalf of the Poppet platform. We work with Stripe because they prioritise the security of your payment data. It employs industry-standard security measures, such as encryption, tokenisation, and secure network protocols, to protect sensitive information. Stripe also ensures compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), reducing the risk of data breaches and fraud.
Deleting your Stripe Account
You can delete your Stripe account at any time. Doing so will lead to your Poppet caregiver account being frozen.
