Need to use the same information across different boards? Or duplicate an entire board setup? Here's how Poppy's copying features work.
Copying Groups and Sources
The Process
Click on any group or individual source
Hit Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (Mac)
You'll see a notification: "Copied group" or "Copied web content"
Copy it within the same board or on a different board by hitting Ctrl+V or Cmd+V
It pastes wherever your cursor is located.
What You Can Copy
Sources and Groups:
Documents, videos, web content, images, voice notes
Entire groups with multiple sources
Individual sources
What You Can't Copy:
Chats
Chatbots
Copy Within the Same Board
When you copy within the same board, you get a completely independent duplicate. Changes to the copy won't affect the original, and vice versa.
Copy Across Different Boards
You can copy sources and groups from one board and paste them into completely different board. Use Ctrl+k or Cmd+k to easily move from one board to another.
Duplicating Entire Boards
For bigger duplication needs, you can copy entire boards:
Go to your main Poppy page (where you see all your boards)
Find the board you want to duplicate
Click the three vertical dots on the right side of that board
Select "Duplicate Board"
This creates a complete copy of the entire board with all its sources, groups, and organization. However the chat history within your chats will NOT be copied. We can add feature this in the future.
The Technical Bit
Each copy becomes its own independent source, so you can modify, organize, or use them differently without affecting the original.
