The Quick Fixes First
Refresh and Retry
Most of the time, this is all you need:
1. Refresh your page
2. Send your prompt again
If that doesn't work immediately, try sending the same prompt one more time. Sometimes it just needs a second attempt.
Test if the AI Model is Actually Working
Create a New Chat
1. Open a completely different chat on your board
2. Send a simple test prompt like "Hello, how are you?"
3. See if you get a normal response
Why This Matters
Sometimes the AI models themselves (like GPT-4 or Claude) are having issues on their end. If your test chat also gets stuck thinking, that's probably what's happening.
If the new chat works fine but your original chat is still stuck, keep reading.
A Hidden Problem: Token Overload
Here's what's could be happening: You've hit the token limit, but the error message isn't showing up properly. Instead of getting a clear "overload limit" error, you just see endless thinking or the chat just doesn't respond at all.
