Board Organization

Groups, text boxes, notes & more

Updated over a week ago

Tired of losing track of your content in a messy board? Poppy's visual organization tools turn your scattered ideas into a structured system that actually works. Here's how to organize like a pro.

Multi-Tab Workflow

Work on the same board in multiple browser tabs - each tab operates independently while all changes save automatically. Perfect for managing different aspects of the same project simultaneously.

Groups: Your Content Containers

Creating Groups

  • Press "G"on your keyboard, or

  • Click the Group icon in the left toolbar

Groups are containers that keep related content together.

Managing Groups

  • Add Content: Drag items directly into the group container. At this time, you can't multiple select files to drag into groups, but this feature is coming!!
Remove Content: Drag items outside of the group

  • Label Groups: Double-click the group title to rename it

  • Copy Groups: Copy entire groups (Ctrl+C or Cmd+C) within your board or to other boards

Why Groups Change Everything

Connect entire groups to chats instead of individual files. The AI gets access to everything inside without cluttering your workspace.

Connection Lines

What They Are

Purple dotted lines that connect information to chats. You can remove and add to a chat anytime. Everything connected to your chat is the knowledge base of your chat.

Notes Feature: Add Context to Everything

How to Add Notes

  1. Select any element on your board (videos, documents, groups, etc.)

  2. Look at the bottom of the selected item

  3. Type in the notes section that appears

Add Context and Instructions

Give yourself and the AI chat more context:

  • "Draft #1 of Script"

  • "Words to avoid"
