A mind map is a block on your board that lays out ideas as branches. You can have the AI generate one from a chat, or build one by hand. Mind maps can be connected to chats like any other block.
Generate a mind map from a chat
Open a chat on your board and connect the sources you want it to use.
Click the Mindmap chip above the chat input, or type / and choose Create Mindmap.
Describe what you want, for example "Turn these three videos into a mind map of hooks, formats and CTAs".
Send. The mind map appears on the board next to the chat.
The chat uses everything connected to it, so connect the research first and the map will reflect it. You can also attach an image of a sketch or notes and ask the chat to turn it into a mind map.
Build a mind map by hand
Press M or click Mindmap in the left toolbar. The mind map editor opens.
Type your central topic.
Press Tab to add a child branch, or Enter to add a sibling at the same level.
Click any node to edit its text. Drag nodes to rearrange them. Select a node and press Delete to remove it.
Copy a mind map
Right-click inside the editor and choose Copy as Image (Cmd + C) to paste it into a doc or slide, or Copy as Text (Cmd + Shift + C) to paste it as an outline.
On the board, select the mind map block and press Cmd/Ctrl + C to copy it to another board.
Use it with a chat
Connect the mind map block to a chat (drag its + handle to the chat) and the chat can read the whole structure. This works well for turning a map into a script, SOP or project plan.
