Version Control: Recover Deleted Content

Accidentally deleted something from your board?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Version control automatically saves every version of your board so you can get it back.

How Version Control Works

A new version is created every time you add, remove or accidentally delete an element (YouTube videos, TikToks, Chats, audio files, mind maps, documents, groups).

How to Use Version Control

  1. Click the clock icon in the top right of your board

  2. Browse version history - You'll see:

    • Version number

    • What action happened ("Added text", "Removed audio")

    • When it happened ("3 minutes ago")

    • Who made the change (helpful when collaborating)

    • Number of elements on the board (elements = textbox, chat, website.. ect)

  3. Click a version** to preview what your board looked like

  4. Choose to restore or exit

Important:

Restoring brings back EVERYTHING from that version. Any work you did after that point will be lost.

If you lose content, restore it immediately so any future work isn't lost when you restore the version.

What information can't be restored in Version Control?

Your chat history within a chat can not be restored. If your chat history disappears and your chat is still on your board please report this to the customer support team and ask for the human agent to help with this.

Missing work on your board? If you have lost a chat or content on your board, try pressing "1" on your keyboard to recenter your board.
