The landing page builder lets you create single-page websites directly in Poppy. You describe what you want, and the AI generates a complete HTML page with styling, responsive design, and conversion elements.
How Landing Page Credits Work
IMPORTANT for users without the Creator or Power User upgrade: You get 5 landing page credits. Each landing page generation uses one landing page credit. These are separate from your chat credits.
Generating a new landing page = 1 landing page credit
Editing through AI Edit toolbar = 5 editing credits given for each landing page
Requesting changes in the original chat = Creates a NEW page (uses another credit)
Creating a Landing Page
Step 1: Prepare Your Information
Before generating a landing page, set up your context:
Create text boxes (press "T") with brand colors, and your target audience
Add a voice note (press "R") explaining how you want customers to feel seeing your landing page.
Add any specific messaging you want to use
Connect these to your chat
Step 2: Generate the Page
Click "Create Landing Page" or type your request:
"Create a landing page for my webinar about using AI for e-commerce. Use colors #FF006E and #8338EC, include testimonials, and add a countdown timer for December 25, 2025 at 6PM EST"

You can share links with the edit chat so that CTA buttons are fully functional.
If you would like to save the original version or a previous version of your landing page before editing more, you can duplicate your landing page by copying it and pasting it back on your board. Then you can make edits on the duplicated version of the landing page.

Click "Connect Domain" in the editor
Enter your domain or subdomain (e.g.,

DNS Configuration Help
When you connect a domain, Poppy provides DNS details like:

Where to add these:
Domain registrars (GoDaddy, Namecheap) - DNS management section
Cloudflare - DNS tab (disable proxy initially)
Website builders - Usually under domain settings or custom DNS
If you're not familiar with DNS settings, your domain provider's support team can add these for you.
VSL Landing Pages
For video-focused sales pages:
Connect a YouTube link to the chat
Request a VSL landing page
The AI creates a page optimized for video conversion
Currently supports YouTube. Other platforms coming soon.
Managing Credit Usage
Landing pages use credits like any other chat interaction. To conserve credits:
Plan your page content before generating
Make multiple edits in one session (uses the 5-minute cache window)
Save successful pages as templates for future reference
Common Questions
"Why can't I create more landing pages?"
Basic and Starter plans have a 5-page limit. This is the total amount of Landing page credits that you will get. These credits do not reset monthly.
You'll need to upgrade to Creator or Power User for unlimited pages.
"How do I remove the Poppy badge?"
The badge appears only on Poppy-hosted links. To remove it:
Download the HTML and host it yourself, or
Connect a custom domain (Creator+ plans)
"My domain won't connect"
Ensure you're on Creator plan or higher
Verify DNS records are entered correctly
Allow 24-48 hours for propagation
Check with your domain provider if issues persist
"Can I edit the code directly?"
Not within Poppy. You'll need to download the HTML and edit it in a code editor.

Provide Clear Context
Include specific details when requesting a page:
Exact hex codes for colors
Target audience description
Specific sections needed (hero, testimonials, FAQ)
Examples of similar pages you like
Take advantage of the Clear Chat option in the AI Edit Chat
Clear your chat after you are done with a specific edit. For example, you have just worked on editing the colors of all the landing page, and now you want to add your logo. Clear your chat history with the red Clear Chat option and then begin working on adding your logo to the page.
