How Profile Discovery Works
There are two ways to get a profile onto your board.
Paste the link directly. Paste any TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube profile URL onto your board. The profile populates on the right side of your screen. From there you can add the whole profile, or use quick-add options like top outliers or most recent posts.
Use Discover Content. Open the Discover Content feature and search for a profile by handle. This works if you don't have the link handy or want to browse before adding anything to your board.
Adding TikTok Profiles
What you get:
Follower count and total video count
A curated sample of posts: biggest outliers by multiplier plus most recent posts
View, like, and comment counts per post
For video posts: full spoken transcript
For video posts: visual breakdown covering opening hook, on-screen text, visual style, how information is presented, audio, and overall message
Adding Instagram Profiles (Reels only)
What you get:
Follower and post count
View, like, and comment counts
A filter to view outlier/recent or both outlier and recent posts
Transcript and visual analysis on reels
Adding LinkedIn Profiles
What you get:
Follower count
Posts ranked by outlier multiplier plus recent posts
Like and comment counts
Transcript and visual analysis for posts with images or video
Adding YouTube Channels
What you get:
Channel overview and key metrics
Latest video titles and view counts
Most popular video titles and view counts
Top outlier videos with their multiplier and view count
Youtube profiles will not transcribe all of the videos shown on the profile. To have the chat access and transcribe youtube videos, you need to add these videos directly onto your board and connect them to the chat.
Not available on any platform
Profile bios aren't pulled in for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube
Comment text isn't readable, only the comment count per post
Pro Tips
Combine with chat. Once a profile is on your board, connect it to a chat and ask Poppy to pull title frameworks, spot recurring hooks, or explain why a post outperformed the rest.
Group by purpose. Press "G" to create groups. Sort profiles into categories like "Competitors," "Inspiration," or "Client Examples."
Go deeper on one post. When something outperforms, drag just that post onto your board, connect it to a chat, and ask for a full breakdown of the copy, structure, and visuals.
