Understanding Thinking Modes

You can choose how deeply the AI thinks before giving you a response. Think of it like choosing between a quick gut reaction vs. sitting down and really working through a problem. The more the AI thinks, the better the result - but it uses more credits.

There are 5 thinking modes to choose from:

⚑ Instant

Best for: quick, everyday tasks

The AI responds right away with no extra reasoning. Great for simple questions, short scripts, quick edits, or anything straightforward.

Example: "Write me a caption for this image" or "Fix this sentence in my script"

Avoid when: your task is complex or needs careful step-by-step thinking

πŸ”΅ Low

Best for: slightly more involved tasks

A little more thought goes in before the AI responds. Good for writing tasks, basic content creation, or simple problem solving.

Example: "Write me a product description for my new feature"

Avoid when: you're dealing with something technical or multi-layered

🟑 Medium

Best for: moderately complex tasks

The AI takes more time to reason through your request before responding. Great for longer content, building something with a few moving parts, or when accuracy really matters.

Example: "Help me write a full email sequence for my launch"

Avoid when: it's a simple task, you'll just be spending extra credits for no reason

πŸ”΄ High

Best for: hard problems and deep thinking

The AI really digs in. Use this when you've tried other modes and weren't happy with the result, or when the task is genuinely complex.

Example: "Help me plan the entire structure of my course" or "Debug this complicated issue I've been stuck on"

Avoid when: the task is simple... save your credits!

🟣 Extra High (Claude Opus only)

Best for: the hardest, most complex tasks imaginable

Maximum reasoning power. Reserved for deep research, highly technical problems, or anything where getting it right really matters.

Example: "Help me design a full business strategy" or "Analyze this complex dataset and give me insights"

Avoid when: almost anything else.. this is the most credit-intensive option, so use it wisely.

A simple rule of thumb:

Not sure which to pick? Start with Instant. If you're not happy with the result, bump it up one level at a time. You'll quickly get a feel for what each task needs πŸ’‘
