Activating your license.
After purchasing on AppSumo:
Go to your AppSumo account and click View all products
Find Poppy AI and click Activate Now
You'll be redirected to Poppy — sign up with the email you want to use
Important: if you're already logged into a Poppy account when you click Activate, the license will attach to that existing account. So please make sure you're logged out of any existing poppy accounts.
Your License Tiers
The AppSumo deal comes in three lifetime tiers. Meaning pay once and you've got access to Poppy for life!
License Tier 1 — $249 (Lifetime)
500 monthly credits (refresh on the 1st of every month at 5 AM PST)
500 one-time bonus credits (added once at activation)
License Tier 2 — $489 (Lifetime)
1,000 monthly credits
1,000 one-time bonus credits
License Tier 3 — $899 (Lifetime)
2,000 monthly credits
1,500 one-time bonus credits
When you upgrade to a higher lifetime tier in app sumo you do NOT receive any additional bonus credits

Need more credits or features?
If you've hit your monthly limit or want capabilities beyond what your AppSumo tier offers (more team members, advanced features, etc.), there are two ways to expand:
Move up an AppSumo tier at anytime. You only pay the difference, not the full price.
Tier upgrades are managed through your AppSumo account, not inside Poppy. You can stack within AppSumo's 60-day window to go from Tier 1 → 2 → 3 for more lifetime monthly credits.

Add a Poppy subscription upgrade. If you're already on Tier 3 or want capabilities that AppSumo tiers don't cover, you can layer a Poppy subscription on top of your lifetime license. Credit upgrades are non-refundable in Poppy.
If you purchase anything directly from Poppy, that billing will be managed in your Billing tab within Poppy.

Downgrading
If you choose you want less credits, you do have the option to downgrade your poppy subscription to a lower tier. You can downgrade your account in the Appsumo platform with the Appsumo 60 day refund period.
Refunds
Your AppSumo purchase is protected by AppSumo's 60-day "We Got Your Back" guarantee. Your billing will be managed in your app sumo account. Use this link to manage your poppy subscription in app sumo.
How to request a refund
Log in to your AppSumo account
Go to Account → Products
Find your Poppy AI purchase
Select Actions → Initiate Refund and follow the prompts
A few things to know:
If you've upgraded tiers (e.g., upgraded from Tier 1 to Tier 2), your refund period will always start on the date of your first purchase. Your refund period will not update to the date that you upgraded your plan in Appsumo.
Refunds outside the 60-day window are not available through AppSumo's guarantee.
If you added a Poppy subscription upgrade on top of your AppSumo license, that is billed separately through Poppy and is not covered by AppSumo's guarantee. And refund requests for a payment made in the poppy platform needs to be handled with a poppy customer support agent.
What happens to your account after a refund
After a refund is processed, your account will be deactivated. You can still access and view your boards, but you won’t be able to use the AI chat. If you’d like to keep using Poppy, you can sign up for a Poppy subscription anytime on our website or reach out to customer support for assistance in reinstating your account.
