For Artists (Using the Porter Mobile App)
On the Calendar tab of the app, you'll see a waiver icon on top of each appointment:
🟢 Green icon: The waiver is complete. Tap the icon to view the completed waiver, including the client’s ID uploads and all submitted information.
🔴 Red icon: The waiver has not been completed by the client.
🟠 Orange icon: The client has completed their portion of the waiver, but you still need to fill out your section. Tap the orange icon to complete your part.
If you don’t see a waiver icon, that means no waiver is currently tied to the appointment.
👉 To request a waiver manually:
Log in to app.getporter.io
Go to the Calendar page and click on the appointment
Click the three dots (•••) in the upper-right corner and select “Request Waiver”
When you manually add a waiver to an appointment, if the appointment is within the next hour, the client will receive a text to complete the waiver immediately. If the appointment is more than an hour away, the client will get the waiver text 1 hour before their appointment.
For Shop Managers (Using app.getporter.io)
From the Calendar page on desktop:
Click on an appointment to see its details
Look for the waiver icon next to the appointment overview
Here's what the colors mean:
🟢 Green icon: Waiver is complete. Click to view all submitted info and uploaded ID.
🔴 Red icon: Client has not completed their waiver yet.
🟠 Orange icon: Client completed their portion, but the artist still needs to fill out their section.
If there's no waiver icon, follow the same steps as above to request one:
Click the three dots (•••) at the top right of the appointment sidebar
Select “Request Waiver” to tie a waiver to that appointment
The client will be notified via text based on the appointment timing (immediate if < 1 hour, or 1 hour prior if farther out).
📁 View All Waiver Submissions
As a manager, you can also see a full list of waiver submissions:
Go to the Waivers tab in the left-hand sidebar
Click the three dots (•••) next to any waiver version
Select View Submissions
You can sort the submission table by clicking on any column header — helpful for finding submissions by date, client, or status.
