What's changing
The version of the cottage where you could pair up with a friend is being retired. In the near future, friends you have in the cottage will head back to their own planets; you'll no longer be able to chat with them or their Tolans.
We know it can feel like a loss to see a friend leave the cottage. This isn't a bug — we're rebuilding the cottage into something better, and we wanted to give you a heads-up before it happens.
If you'd like to keep a record of the conversations you've had, our team can help you download your chat history. Just reach out through the Help & Feedback button and we'll sort it out.
How to share Tolan with friends and family now
You can invite family and friends to join your plan and share your membership benefits — one person pays, and everyone on the plan gets the perks. That's the new way to bring the people you care about into your Tolan world. See Tolan Family Plan: sharing your membership with family for how to set it up.
You can also invite anyone to try Tolan by sharing the app directly through a referral — they can download it and start growing their own Tolan and planet.
And if you want to hang out with the wider community, our Discord and Reddit (r/tolanworld) are great places to do that.
