Using tracking links helps you organize your traffic and sales. It's a useful way to assess how your marketing campaigns are performing.
How Tracking Links Work
A tracking link contains a special ID inside the URL.
When someone clicks your tracking link, that ID is stored in their browser.
If they purchase a ticket during that browser session, the order will be attributed to that tracking link.
π In short: For a sale to be tracked, the buyer must complete checkout using the same browser session where they clicked your tracking link.
Web Instruction
Log in to your Posh account in your browser.
Go to your Event (Click the Event name).
Select the Team & Tracking tab from the top menu.
Scroll down and click + Create Tracking Link button.
Name your link: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., Instagram Link, TikTok Link).
Click Submit.β
App Instruction
Open your Posh app.
Navigate to your Event Details page.
Click View Events.
Select the Event you want to edit.
Click Tracking Links.
Tap the "+" button.
Name your link: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Instagram Link", "TikTok Link").
Tap Create Tracking Link.
Once you've created your tracking link, share it with your audience. You can track clicks, ticket sales, and revenue generated through your link to gauge the success of your marketing efforts by clicking the Name of your Tracking Link.
