MFA is available on Post. Once Multi-factor Authentication is set up for your account, you will be asked to provide an authentication code each time you complete log in.

To enable MFA, proceed to menu>settings>security>multifactor authentication (https://post.news/settings/security/mfa) and use an authenticator app to scan the QR code or enter the text code.

What is MFA? Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a recommended (but optional) security enhancement. Rather than just needing your username and password to log into your Post account, MFA confirms your identity using an authenticator app on your personal device. MFA helps protect your account from misuse or cyber attacks.

If you are being prompted to ender a code following log in: Post is asking for the MFA code. The MFA code can only be provided by the authentication app/device that was set up when you activated multi-factor authentication (not by email or text).

If you happen to have set it up using an iPhone, you may have used safaris authentication. To access this, you can go to your phones settings>passwords, select your account for the website or app, tap the verification code, then tap Copy Verification Code from there.
