How do I sign up for and use Post?

Signing up:

  1. Go to post.news

  2. Click "Sign Up" to set up your account.

  3. Enter your desired handle, email address, password, agree to our Terms and Conditions, and tap “Continue”.

  4. You’ll be directed to a page to verify your email. Check your email for the verification code and enter it in the box.

  5. From there you’ll be prompted to complete onboarding. Add a Display Name (we recommend your real name) and your Title, Profile and Banner Photos. You can also follow Post members from a list of recommended accounts to help get you started.

Using Post

  1. When you see a post that you want to expand to full view, including the conversation below, click on the body of the post. Some content has additional text that is not visible in the feed. Tap the blue "Read" button to display the entire post.

  2. New accounts have a complimentary balance of Post Points that you can use to unlock premium content. You can also tip other accounts with Post Points to show your support.

  3. To add more Post Points to your account click on Wallet in your navigation menu. Tap on the “Add Points” button and then click on “+Add Payment Method”. iOS users have the ability to purchase points using in-app purchases. When your payment method has been saved, select the amount of points you wish to purchase and hit the blue button on the bottom of the modal to Buy pts.

  4. Follow accounts that you enjoy to customize your curated “Following” feed. All content created by every member of the post community can be viewed in the “Explore” feed.

  5. To create your own post, click the pencil and paper icon at the bottom right of your screen to open the composer tool. Any post of 280+ characters can be turned into a paid post by clicking the settings button at the top of the editor and toggling ‘Make this Post Paid to the “On” position.
