In this article, we go over step-by-step, how to enable PostBeyond within a Salesforce iFrame:

Before you initiate the installation of the PostBeyond package, please ensure that you have communicated to the PostBeyond team your Salesforce Org ID. The Org ID must be configured by PostBeyond before the PostBeyond package can be used within your Salesforce instance.

NOTE: If your Org ID is 15 char you may need to use this convertor to convert it to 18 char.

Step 2: If prompted by Salesforce to log in, provide your admin credentials. Please note, you have to have administrator privileges to manage and install packages.

Step 3: On the next screen, you will see the following installation options. Choose whether to install for All Users or Specific Profiles and proceed.

Step 4: Once the installation is completed, you should receive a completion message. Click done.

Step 5: The browser should navigate to the Installed Packages page in Salesforce. You should be able to see the PostBeyond package listed.

Step 6: After installing the package, before trying to add the tab (Step 7), you will need to make sure that OAuth Policies are set to ‘Admin approved users are pre-authorized’

Exact navigation to complete this process:

1. After installing the package you will get dropped to the Installed Packages page, and from there go to ‘App Manager’

2. Find the PostBeyond Connected(Managed) app and on the dropdown click ‘manage’ and then click ‘Edit Policies’ at the top to change the value. Make sure that under OAth Policies the selected option is 'Admin approved users are pre-authorized' and click 'Save':

3. From there make sure to update the Profiles or Permission Sets to give users access:

Once you've completed the above steps you should be all set! Back in the Salesforce experience, PostBeyond will appear in your horizontal view.

Step 7: If the PostBeyond iFrame is not in your horizontal top menu view, click ‘More’ to locate it within the drop-down menu

You should now see the PostBeyond tab in the horizontal menu.
