Synchronise return request status with Torque

Torque is a warehouse management system used to manage warehouse operations and return inspections.

Our integration with Torque helps you automate the return process by syncing warehouse inspection outcomes back to PostCo.

How this works?

Here’s what you can expect once the integration is active:

  1. When a return is routed to a Torque-managed warehouse, PostCo sends the return details to Torque.

  2. Torque receives the return and your warehouse team inspects the returned item.

  3. Once an inspection result such as GOOD or BAD is assigned in Torque, the mapped action is applied to the return request in PostCo.

Note: If any item needs manual resolution, your team will need to complete that return manually in PostCo.

Connecting Torque to PostCo

  1. In your PostCo dashboard, navigate to Integrations and click on the Connect button for Torque.

  2. Fill in your Torque credentials and hit Connect.
    The required fields are:

    • API Key

    • Client ID

    • Client Group

    • Site ID

    • Config ID

    • Owner ID

    • Pallet Config

  3. Once the account is connected successfully, you will be redirected to the Torque Integration page to proceed with the setup.

Note: If your credentials change later, you can update them from the Torque Integration page. Refer to this section for more details.

How to set up?

Step 1: Torque warehouse mapping

Under the Torque warehouses section, you must select at least one Torque warehouse before activating this integration.

Only returns routed to these selected return locations would be synced to Torque.

Note: If you don't see the your Torque warehouse, simply click on 'Create a new location' to add a new PostCo return location.

Step 2: Return reason mapping

In the Return reason mapping section, enter the Torque Reason Code for each PostCo return reason.

💡 Tip: The Torque Reason Codes are configured in your account with Torque. You can retrieve them through your Torque dashboard.

Step 3: Action mapping

Select what actions should PostCo take based on the Torque sampling type.

PostCo Action

What it does

Resolve

Resolves the return, but does not restock the return item

Resolve & Restock

Resolves the return and restocks the return item to the specified location

Reject

Decline the return

Manual Resolve

Leaves the return to be handled manually by your team

Step 4: Restock location mapping

A Restock location mapping section will appear below if a Torque inspection result is mapped to Resolve & Restock. You can specify the restock location where the return item will be restocked to.

Step 5: Activate the integration

Once you have completed all the above steps, click Save and Activate to complete the setup.

Updating your Torque account credentials

To update your Torque account credentials, simply click Update Credentials in the top-right corner of the page.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What happens if I add a new return reason later?

You will need to enter a Torque reason code for the new return reason before saving it.

  2. Why is the Activate button still disabled?

This usually means one of the required setup steps is incomplete, such as warehouse mapping, return reason mapping, or action mapping.

  3. Will all returns be sent to Torque automatically?

No. Only returns routed to a return location selected as a Torque warehouse in this integration will be processed by Torque.
