Insights is a very powerful tool for when you're just starting your Facebook or Instagram Page and you need to better understand what works for your audience and what doesn't. At the same time, it can also be helpful for more experienced users looking to switch things up and improve their content strategy!
To start, select the period of time you're looking to see the Insights from by clicking on Select date range.
On the top part, you will see five fixed information cards: Total Fans/Followers, Reach, Engagement/Impressions, Page Views/Profile Visits, and Published Posts. They are great for keeping track of your Facebook page's progress at a single glance in a simple and intuitive format that will always be available while you navigate through the different Insight tabs for a closer look.
Below this overview of your posts' information, you will find the Insights tabs with more detailed statistics: Growth, Demographics, Posts Performance, and Post History.
You'll also be able to create and download a report of your Insights by simply clicking + Create Report, on the top right of the page. You can learn more about the report here.
Keep in mind that your Insights information is not generated by Postcron, it's pulled directly from Meta.
